Terug bij zijn uniform… de pet van piloot Arthur Gordon Richardson. Onlangs nam de Britse RAF verzamelaar Jacob contact met mij op. Hij vertelde mij dat hij de pet had met het identieke naamlabel erin. Hij vond dat de pet ’terug’ moest naar het jasje en was bereid de pet aan mij te verkopen. Voor mij voelt dit als een ‘gift’ en ik ben hem daar heel dankbaar voor!

Back to his uniform… the cap of pilot Arthur Gordon Richardson. Recently the British RAF collector Jacob contacted me. He told me he had the cap with the identical name tag in it. He thought the cap should ‘return’ to the jacket and was willing to sell the cap to me. To me this feels like a ;gift’ and I am very grateful to him for that!
